- Transport: Calculated based on distance from our kitchen in College Square, Kolkata. We serve Salt Lake, Newtown, South Kolkata, and all major areas. Call us for exact transport cost.

We've seen couples compare quotes that aren't actually comparable. Here's our checklist. Use it for every quote you receive — including ours.
Before signing anything, ask these seven questions:
- Is GST included or separate? — A "₹900/plate" quote with GST bundled is not the same as ₹900 + 5% GST separately.
- What's the staff ratio? — Ask if service staff charges are included and at what guest ratio.
- Is crockery included? — Some caterers charge separately for plates, spoons, and serving dishes.
- What exactly are the live counters? — "Live counter" means different things. Ask for the specific counter type and add-on cost.

The Panchobyanjan package at ₹930 is our classic Bengali offering. You get Basmati Rice, Shukto, Moong Dal, Aloo Bhaja, Bhetki Paturi or Topse Fry, Doi Katla, Chingri Malaikari, Bengali Mutton Jhol, Nolen Gurer Rosogolla, Makha Sandesh, Ice Cream, and Benarasi Pan. Three packages include Mutton Biryani: Babumoshai (₹985), Bhuri (₹1,100), Elahi (₹1,555), and Bonedi Barir (₹2,555). If Mutton Biryani is a must-have at your wedding, Babumoshai gives you the best value.
Q4. Which is the best package for a pure Bengali wedding?
The Khati Bangali (₹999) package is designed for purists. It has Bhetki Fish Fry, Chingri Malaikari or Chital Muitha, Posto Katla or Dum Rui, Mutton Kosha, Macher Matha diye Moong Dal, Basanti Pulao, and Benarasi Pan. It also includes starters — Aam Panna, Fish Finger, and Veg Pakora.

No — GST is always quoted separately at New Bhojon. We never bundle it into the per-plate price. This way, you can compare our rates honestly with other caterers.
